I use these worksheets for morning math. Students practice their word problem solving skills as well as review important concepts throughout the year to prepare for state testing. 

Grade 2 Beginning of Year Math PreAssessment 

This was created by request off of my Grade 3 Pre Assessment. Use this to assess your incoming 2nd graders at the beginning of the year to find out what they know, and what they need review/reteaching on prior to jumping into grade 2 curriculum.
