Gift Ideas for the Office Staff- Administrative Professionals Day

Administrative Professionals Day is right around the corner! At my school, we have outstanding office ladies. I truly feel that they are the glue that holds the school together.
These ladies field phone calls, calm down angry parents, deal with sick kids when the nurse it out, take care of behavior cases while they wait for admin., handle all the paper work, answer billions of questions…. all with a huge smile on their face. They are so helpful, friendly, and kind.

In honor of them, we usually collect money from the staff so that we can all chip in to make them feel special. Instead of only celebrating for one day, we actually turn it into a week long celebration. This year, I had the honor to put together their gifts.

Today I'm here to share them with you. A lot of these could easily be used for Teacher Appreciation week as well.

I got the cute tumblers from Target, you can find them here. I used my Silhouette Cameo  to cut out the names and designs from Vinyl Sheets
You can snag the labels here

I used EOS lip balm as the 'bomb'. You can pick that tag up here.

You can get this sign here.

Next up is an Ice Cream Sundae Kit:

Signs available here.

I hope you find some of these gift ideas useful! Let me know in the comment section if you end up trying any of these ideas out :)

Teacher Appreciation Freebie

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all of you wonderful teachers out there!!

Today, I whipped up a quick activity for my students to show appreciation to a former teacher. I had each child pick a former teacher who they remember as being special and they used a circle map to brainstorm what they appreciated/are thankful for about what that teacher did for them.
They then went ahead and wrote a thank you letter to them and drew a picture.

I felt that it's important, also extremely nice for the students to show thanks to their former teacher. I know that the teachers will be extremely touched and grateful for this. We are also sending out letters for those students who are writing to a teacher not from our school or out of state.

Hope you can enjoy this free file up in my TPT store. Please leave some feedback if you decide to use this product :) Thanks!!

Oops, also forgot to mention that my TPT store will be on sale until Thursday..Use this special code: TAD13 to get an additional discount today!!

Enjoy the rest of your day and happy shopping!!

Public School State of Mind

This is a must watch video! Created by the Blue Valley School District who recognizes that all the public school employees work hard and make a difference in the lives of children. What a great way for a school district to show appreciation and to get it out to the public.. :) Plus these two kid are just so stinkin adorable! haha.

Thank you to Emily at 4321..Teach for sharing this one :)
